Privacy Policy
Trivia Latina (“the App”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a trivia game for Roku streaming devices, published by RMPC (“Developer”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App and our website at trivialatina.approku.com (“Website”) collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App or the Website you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

1. THE SHORT VERSION
- The App has no accounts, no sign-in, and no user profile.
- We do not run our own servers for the App, and we do not collect, receive or sell your personal information through the App.
- We do not use analytics, tracking or profiling tools in the App.
- The App stores your settings on your own Roku device only.
- Free users see ads. Ads are delivered by the Roku Advertising Framework, which is operated by Roku and its advertising partners, not by us. Roku’s own policies cover the data it collects for ads.
- Purchases (Premium) are handled entirely by Roku. We never see your payment details.
- The App is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13.
2. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
The App saves the following in your Roku device’s local storage (registry). It stays on your device, is not sent to us, and is removed when you remove the App or reset the device:
- Your preferences: language, look/theme, sound and music settings, game length, timer, play mode and selected categories.
- Game setup choices, including any player or team names you type in Party Mode or Team Battle. Please do not type full names or other sensitive details; nicknames are enough.
- A short list of recently shown question identifiers, so questions do not repeat too soon.
- Whether Premium is unlocked on your device (as confirmed by Roku).
We do not have access to this information.
3. INFORMATION COLLECTED BY ROKU AND AD PARTNERS
3.1 Roku platform. The App runs on the Roku platform. Roku may collect device and usage information (for example your device identifiers, IP address, and which channels you use) under Roku’s own privacy policy, available at https://www.roku.com/legal/privacy-policy. We do not control and are not responsible for Roku’s practices.
3.2 Advertising. Free users see video ads at natural breaks between questions and at the end of games. Ads are requested and delivered through the Roku Advertising Framework (RAF). When an ad is requested, Roku and its advertising partners may receive information such as your Roku advertising identifier, IP address, device type and approximate location, and may use it to select, measure and limit ads. We do not receive that information. You can limit ad personalization on your Roku device under Settings > Privacy > Advertising (for example “Limit ad tracking”). Premium owners do not see ads.
3.3 Purchases. If you buy Premium, the purchase is processed by Roku Pay. Roku handles your payment information, billing and any refund request under its own terms. We receive only a confirmation that the purchase exists so that we can unlock Premium on your device.
4. WEBSITE AND CONTACT FORM
The Website is a simple informational page. It does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive the information you give us (your name, email address and message) and use it only to read and answer your message, to improve the App, and to keep a record of support requests. The contact form is delivered to our support mailbox through an email-forwarding service, which processes the message for that purpose. We keep support messages only as long as needed to handle the request and for our legitimate record-keeping, then delete them. We do not sell your contact details or use them for marketing unless you ask us to.
Our hosting provider may keep standard technical server logs (such as IP address, browser type and time of visit) for security and reliability.
5. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
The only personal information that reaches us is what you voluntarily send us (Section 4). We use it to respond to you, to fix problems, to meet legal obligations, and to protect our rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
6. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The App and Website are for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Parents and guardians can control ads and purchases on a Roku device through Roku’s account and parental controls (such as a PIN for purchases).
7. SHARING
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information only (a) to service providers that help us operate the Website and support mailbox, under appropriate confidentiality, (b) if required by law, court order or a lawful request, or (c) to protect the rights, safety or property of users, us or others. If the App or business is sold or transferred, information we hold (support messages) may be transferred to the new owner.
8. DATA RETENTION AND SECURITY
Data on your device stays there until you remove the App, clear it or reset the device. We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. INTERNATIONAL USERS
The App is offered through the Roku Channel Store and may be used in many countries. Roku and its partners may process data in countries other than your own. Messages you send us may be processed in Canada, the United States or other countries where our providers operate.
10. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR, Canada’s PIPEDA and provincial laws, Brazil’s LGPD, or California’s CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal information, to withdraw consent, to data portability, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because the App does not collect personal information, these rights mostly apply to messages you send us. To make a request, email support@trivialatina.approku.com from the address you used to contact us. We will respond within the time required by law. For data held by Roku, including ad data, use Roku’s privacy controls and contact Roku directly.
You can erase everything the App stores on your device by removing the App from your Roku.
Do Not Track: because we do not track users across sites or apps, we do not respond to Do Not Track signals.
11. LANGUAGES
The App is available in English, Spanish and Portuguese. This policy is provided in English. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version controls where the law allows.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. Material changes will be posted on trivialatina.approku.com/privacy-policy/. Your continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
